We understand how annoying it is to receive an incomplete or damaged product. With us, you can always count on high-quality products and excellent service. If you have received a defective, damaged or incomplete item via our webshop, we will gladly ensure a quick and careful handling.

On this page you will find the different situations and the corresponding steps you can follow to solve your problem. Whether it is a damaged product upon receipt, a defect within the warranty period, or a repair outside the warranty, we are ready to help you.

Did you receive an incomplete or damaged product?

When you order something from us, you can assume that it is a high-quality product. If, as a result of your order via our webshop, you have received a defective, damaged or incomplete article, we will gladly ensure that this is handled properly.

Choose what best describes your situation:

(a) My product was delivered damaged and/or defective.

How annoying! It is important that the product meets the following conditions:

- The product was purchased via gastronoma.nl
- You must report the damage or defect within 30 working days of receipt.
- In case of damage, we would like to receive a photo.

(b) My product is broken or does not work properly (anymore). It has a warranty.

It is important that the product meets the following conditions:

- It concerns a Gastronoma product. (Was your product not purchased from us? Take a picture of the invoice and upload it, or the PDF of the invoice, with your application.)
- The purchase date is less than 2 years ago
- It has not been dropped, damaged, become wet or used in any other way that would void the warranty.

If the defect falls within the warranty conditions and warranty period, the product will be repaired free of charge. Always include a copy of the proof of purchase to claim warranty. If it turns out that the damage falls outside the warranty, costs will be charged. Before these costs are incurred, we will first contact you.

(c) I want to have my product repaired, it is no longer under warranty.

Is your product not working (well) anymore and do you want to have it repaired? That is possible!
You can have the repair done via register this website .
We will then assess your request after which you will receive an email from us with further instructions.

It is a good idea to take the following points into account:

Before the repair starts, you will receive a message with a quote.
You have the option to agree to the repair costs, you will then receive an invoice.
The repaired product will be returned to us as soon as we have received payment.

If you do not agree with the quote, you can choose from the options below:

You can return the product unprepared.
This costs €17.50 excl. VAT (€21.18 incl. VAT).
The unprepared product will be returned after receipt of payment.

You surrender the product, we will then destroy the product.
There are no charges for this.
